Signature Chefs Auction of Greater Hartford is a festive and elegant event featuring chefs from the area's most premiere establishments.  Each chef presents their signature dishes for our guests to sample.  In addition to sampling this scrumptious cuisine, guests partake in beverage tastings and place bids in the silent auction.  After the reception and tasting, guests continue the fun by participating in a live auction.

And get ready for some of the most unique culinary creations in our “Chefs Relay Race,” a live “Iron Chef” challenge cook-off, hosted by renowned Connecticut food expert and TV and radio personality, Prudence Sloane! Our chefs will be challenging each others’ culinary skills live before your eyes and you just may be selected to help judge the winning dish and team of chefs!

Program to be hosted by Damon Scott of 96.5 TIC-FM!

Benjamin Franklin once said “Fools make Feasts, and wise men eat them”. If you feel that way about being the cook for Thanks- giving, then this is the class for you. I’m going to show you how to get juicy white meat and perfectly cooked dark meat with “Julia Child’s Reassembled Turkey” and it comes to the table looking just like the real thing! I’ve been cooking my turkey this way for years and I wouldn’t do it any other way. The disassembling can be done up to two days ahead and the gravy made a day ahead. No more last minute frantic cooking.

So it’s BYOT – “bring your own turkey” and you’re going to disassemble it in class – all done and ready for you to pop it in the oven Thanksgiving day! And here’s an added bonus - you won’t have to get up at 5 in the morning because the turkey will roast in about half the time! Plus you’ll learn the principles and techniques of making gravy, stuffing and cooking green vegetables the restaurant way– all lower calorie and the day before – making this the “Cook’s Holiday”. Trust me – this will change your Thanksgiving forever! Don’t forget your turkey!
